MAKEARRAY

The MAKEARRAY function returns an array of numbers with a specified number of rows and columns calculated by a LAMBDA function.

MAKEARRAY(number-of-rows, number-of-columns, LAMBDA(row_index, column_index, calculation))

number-of-rows: The number of rows to return. Must be greater than 0.

number-of-columns: The number of columns to return. Must be greater than 0.

LAMBDA: A defined subformula.

row_index: The row index of the array.

column_index: The column index of the array.

calculation: The formula you want the function to execute and return. This is required and must be the last argument.

Examples

=MAKEARRAY(2,3, LAMBDA(r, c, r*c)) returns the array below:
