Add an inner shadow to a layer in Pixelmator Pro on Mac

The Inner Shadow layer style adds a drop shadow inside a selected layer, adding dimension and depth to a layer.

In Pixelmator Pro on Mac, select a layer in the Layers sidebar.
Select in the Tools sidebar.
In the Style pane, click Add Style, then choose Inner Shadow.
In the Inner Shadow section, adjust any of the following controls:
- Blur: Drag the slider to adjust the shadow diffusion.
- Distance: Drag the slider to adjust how far the shadow is from the object. Press and hold Option while dragging to extend the range past 100 pixels.
- Angle: Drag the wheel to change the angle of the shadow.
- Color: Click the color well, then choose a color.
- Opacity: Drag the slider to adjust the transparency of the shadow.
- Blend Mode: Click the Opacity pop-up menu, then choose a blend mode.
