Sculpture morph overview in Logic Pro for iPad

Sculpture has a number of morphable parameters that you can independently adjust and store with a morph point. In essence, the values of all morphable parameters are captured at a particular moment in time, much like a photograph. You can smoothly change the sound—in a subtle or radical way—by transitioning between up to five morph points.

The Morph Parameters and Morph Envelope allow you to create, and precisely control, the movements and blending between morph points.

The morphing features of Sculpture are spread across two interface sections:

  • Morph Parameters: There are five morph points, or scenes, that are assigned to the four corners—A, B, C, and D—and the center of the Morph Pad. A number of menu options are also available for randomizing, copying, and pasting morph points or Morph Pad states.

Note: The Morph Pad is shown in the Perform, String, and Processing views. Tap the respective button in the plug-in to view and edit morph points in each view.

  • Morph Envelope: Tap the Morph Env button at the top of the plug-in to view and edit morph points—either onscreen or with recorded MIDI controller movements. For example, you could use a vector stick (Morph X/Y controllers) or drag the gray dots on the Morph Envelope pads.
