Manage your apps on Apple TV

Apple TV comes preloaded with a collection of apps on the Home screen. You can add other apps using the App Store App Store. To learn more, see Find apps in the Apple TV App Store.

Open an app

  • Using the Siri Remote, navigate to an app on the Apple TV Home Screen, then press the Touch surface to open it.

    Press and hold the Menu button button to return to the Home Screen.

Note: You can switch between apps you’ve previously opened. See Switch quickly between Apple TV apps.

Change an app’s settings

Some apps have a Settings menu within the app. For other apps, do the following:

  1. Open Settings Settings on Apple TV.

  2. Select Apps, select the app you want, then make changes.
