Alchemy Preset browser overview in MainStage
The Preset browser is used for loading, searching, sorting, rating, and tagging presets.
There are two different views for the Preset browser.
Browser view: Click the Browse button to open browser view.
Name bar list: Click the preset field in the Name bar to display a list of presets.
When a new instance of Alchemy is inserted, the browser shows all available presets. The Name bar list field displays the preset category and preset name.
Both lists are synchronized. If the Preset browser is used to select a particular category or to sort results, the Name bar list reflects your choices, and vice versa.
When a preset is loaded, the area below the columns displays Comments and User Tags fields. The area to the right shows additional parameters. See Use the Alchemy browser in MainStage.
