Get web page summaries with Apple Intelligence on Mac

With Apple Intelligence,* you can generate summaries of web pages in the Safari app.

Note: Apple Intelligence is not available on all Mac models or in all languages or regions. ** To access the most recent available features, make sure you’re using the latest version of macOS and have Apple Intelligence turned on.

Summarise a web page

  1. Go to the Safari app on your Mac.

    Open Safari for me

  2. Click the Page Menu button, then click Show Reader.

  3. Click Summarise at the top of the page.

    To return to the normal view, click the Show Reader button, then click Hide Reader.

You can also use Writing Tools to summarise web pages. See Use Writing Tools with Apple Intelligence.

For some web pages, you can also use Highlights to view summaries and other key information about the page.
