Introduction to effect categories in Pixelmator Pro on Mac

There are multiple effect types, organized by category in the Effects browser:

Blur effects soften and defocus images.
Distortion effects warp and reshape images.
Sharpen effects enhance image detail and clarity.
Color Adjustment effects modify colors, brightness, and contrast.
Tile effects create repeating patterns.
Stylize effects add creative visual treatments.
Halftone effects add printing-style dot patterns.
Generator effects create patterns and shapes.
Fill effects add colors, gradients, patterns or images.
The other effects category includes professional image correction and blending techniques for compositing.
