Copy and paste position and length values in Logic Pro for iPad
You can copy the position or length value for a region in the Region inspector, select another region (or regions), and then paste the value to the Region inspector to have it apply to the selected region(s). You can also paste the copied position value to the display, located in the control bar, to move the playhead to that position, or you can copy the position value in the display and paste it to the Region inspector to move the start of a region to that position.
Copy the position or length value of a region
In Logic Pro, select a region, then tap the Inspector button
in the view control bar to open the Region inspector.In the Region inspector, tap Details to open the Details section (if it is not already open). You may need to close other sections to view the Details section.
Touch and hold either the position value or the length value, then tap Copy.
Copy the position value of the playhead
In Logic Pro, touch and hold the position value in the display, then tap Copy.
Paste the copied position value to the Region inspector
In Logic Pro, select a region, then tap the Inspector button
to open the Region inspector.In the Region inspector, tap Details to open the Details section (if it is not already open). You may need to close other sections to view the Details section.
Do one of the following:
If you copied the position value, touch and hold the position value, then tap Paste.
If you copied the length value, touch and hold the length value, then tap Paste.
Note: Position and length values are not interchangeable. A copied position value cannot be pasted into a length value field, or vice versa.
Paste the copied position value to the display
In Logic Pro, touch and hold the position value in the display, then tap Paste.
