Apps and features that use iCloud
iCloud helps you keep your most important information—like your photos, files, backups, and more—secure, up to date, and available across all your devices.
When you sign in on a new Apple device, key features of iCloud like iCloud Photos, Backup, iCloud Drive, and more are set up automatically. You can turn these on or off at any time and customize the settings for each device. See Set up iCloud on all your devices.
If you use the free version of iCloud, you have 5 GB of iCloud storage for your data. You can upgrade to iCloud+ with up to 12 TB of storage at any time. See Buy more iCloud storage with iCloud+.
Note: Not all iCloud features are available in all countries or regions. Some iCloud features have minimum system requirements. See the Apple Support article System requirements for iCloud.
