  • Right: The channel has a right channel input format. Only the right channel of a stereo audio file is played back. The level meter shows a single column.

Set the channel strip input format

  1. In Logic Pro, tap the Input slot on a channel strip.

  2. Under Channel Format, tap the input format for the channel strip.

  3. Tap outside the dialog to close it.

Note: You can change the iPad microphone orientation for audio input by tapping the Microphone Orientation Setup button below the Channel Format pop-up menu, then choosing a different orientation in Audio Devices settings. Changing the microphone orientation may also change the input format.
