Summarise an audio recording on Apple Vision Pro with Apple Intelligence

You can record audio in Notes — like a class lecture or an important meeting — then use Apple Intelligence* to generate a summary of the transcript, so you can get to the most important information at a glance.

Note: Apple Intelligence is not available in all languages or regions.** To access the most recent available features, make sure you’re using the latest version of visionOS and have Apple Intelligence turned on.

View a summary of an audio recording in Notes

After you record audio in the Notes app, you can see a summary of the recording. If you recorded a phone call on your iPhone, you can also view those summaries in Notes on your Apple Vision Pro.

  1. Go to the Notes app on your Apple Vision Pro.

  2. Open a note with a recording.

Note: If you recorded a call on your iPhone, the recording appears in the Call Recordings folder.

  3. Tap the recording, then tap Summary.

To copy or share the summary, tap the More button in the Summary dialogue, then choose Copy Summary or Share Summary.
