Sign in to your Apple Account in the Apple TV app on Mac
To purchase and rent movies and TV shows or to subscribe to Apple TV channels, you need an Apple Account. If you don’t have one, you can set one up in the Apple TV app.
Create a new Apple Account in the Apple TV app
Go to the Apple TV app
on your Mac.Choose Apple Account > Sign In, click Create New Apple Account, then follow the onscreen instructions.

Go to the Apple TV app
on your Mac.Do either of the following:
Click Apple Account in the bottom left corner, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Choose Account > Sign In, then follow the onscreen instructions.
If you forgot your password, click “Forgot password?” and follow the onscreen instructions.
Sign out of your Apple Account in the Apple TV app
If you’re using a shared computer, be sure to sign out when you’re finished to prevent others from making purchases with your account.
Go to the Apple TV app
on your Mac.Choose Account > Sign Out.
