Use Siri to listen to a webpage in Safari on iPad

You can use Siri to read supported webpages aloud in the Safari app .

A website is open in Safari. The Page Settings button is selected and listening controls are displayed.

Listen to a webpage

  1. Open the Safari app on your iPad.

  2. Open the page you want to listen to, then do one of the following:

    • Tap the Page Settings button, then tap Listen to Page.

    • Activate Siri, then say something like “Read this” or “I want to listen to this page.”

Pause listening

While listening to a webpage, tap the Listening Controls button, tap Listening Controls, then tap the Pause button.

To start listening again, tap the Listening Controls button, then tap the Play button.
