Use key labels in Sampler in MainStage

You can add names to keys used by instruments and save these names as a key label set. This is ideal for drum kits.

Set key labels for zones and groups

In the MainStage Sampler Mapping pane:

To open the Key Labels window, choose Edit > Edit Key Labels.
Click the field in the Label column to the right of the note that you want to add a name to, and enter the new name.
Press Return, or click outside the field to complete text entry.

Save a key label set

In MainStage Sampler, choose Save Key Label Set As from the pop-up menu in the Key Labels window.
Enter a name in the Key Label Set Name field, then click Save.
The key label set name is shown in the pop-up menu in the Key Labels window.

Load a key label set

In MainStage Sampler, choose the key label set name from the pop-up menu in the Key Labels window.

Delete a key label set

In MainStage Sampler, choose the key label set name from the pop-up menu in the Key Labels window.
Choose Delete “key label set name” from the pop-up menu in the Key Labels window.
