Send and receive intercom messages from Apple Watch

Using the Home app on Apple Watch, you can send an intercom message to all members of your home. A recording of your voice is sent to all the HomePod speakers in your home, and to the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch devices of all members of your home who allow Intercom messages.

Siri: Activate Siri, then say, “Intercom,” followed by your message. You can even include a specific room or zone to send your message to only that part of the home.

Or without using Siri:

  1. Go to the Home app on your Apple Watch.

  2. Swipe down, then tap the Intercom button.

  3. Say something like, “Who ate the last piece of pizza?”

  4. Tap Done.
