Manage notifications from Music on Mac
If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can choose to get notifications about topics like new releases by your favorite artists and your friends’ activity. You can also turn notifications off altogether.
Manage notifications in Apple Music
Go to the Music app
on your Mac.Click the My Account button (looks like a photo or monogram) in the bottom-left corner of the window, then click Notifications.
Select the updates you want to be notified about, then click Done.
Change or turn off all notifications from Music
Go to the System Settings app
on your Mac.Click Notifications
in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)Go to App Notifications on the right, click Music, then do one of the following:
Change notifications: Set options, such as the style of notifications or where to show them. For more information about the options, click
in the bottom-right corner.Turn off all notifications from Music: Turn off Allow Notifications.
Note: To see notifications from Music when a Focus is on, you must allow the notifications to appear. See Set up a Focus.
