See if a photo or video is downloaded or part of an iCloud Shared Photo Library for Windows
With iCloud for Windows, you can see if a photo or video stored in iCloud Photos is downloaded to your computer or part of your iCloud Shared Photo Library.
Icon | Description |

 | The photo or video is a thumbnail. It’s only stored in iCloud and hasn’t been downloaded to your computer. Double-click the photo or video to download and open it. See Download and view iCloud Photos on your Windows computer. |
 | The photo or video is waiting to download. |
 | The photo or video is currently downloading. |
 | The photo or video has been downloaded to your computer. |
 | The photo or video is pinned. See Keep photos and videos downloaded in iCloud for Windows. |
 | The photo or video is part of your iCloud Shared Photo Library. You added it to the shared library. See Use iCloud Shared Photo Library on your Windows computer. |
 | The photo or video is part of your iCloud Shared Photo Library. Another participant added it to the shared library. |
