Adjust podcast settings on Apple TV
Adjust settings for Podcasts
Open Settings
on Apple TV.Go to Apps > Podcasts to do any of the following:
Allow Podcasts to refresh your subscriptions in the background: Turn on Background App Refresh.
Sync podcasts with your other iOS and iPadOS devices: Turn on Sync Podcasts.
Automatically start playing the next episode after the current one ends: Turn on Continuous Playback.
Set podcasts defaults: Choose how often Podcasts checks your subscriptions for new episodes and choose whether to keep episodes after you finish them.
Use custom colors based on the artwork for each podcast: Turn on Custom Colors.
Show the screen saver while listening to podcasts
Open Settings
on Apple TV.Go to General > Screen Saver and turn on Show During Music and Podcasts.
