Resolution for relative controls in Logic Pro for iPad

Resolution is used for relative encoders. It allows you to have finer or coarser control when changing a parameter value. Global resolution applies to all relative assignments that use it. You can turn off global resolution for individual assignments so that you have finer or coarser control of a parameter without affecting other assignments.

  • Use Global Resolution switch: Turn on to use the global resolution, which is used by all relative assignments. Turn off to ignore the global resolution.

  • Global Resolution field: Set a resolution. This value applies to all relative assignments that use global resolution.

  • Resolution field: Available when global resolution is turned off for the assignment. Set a resolution that applies only to this assignment.
