Change Location Sharing settings in Family Sharing on Mac

On your Mac, use Location Sharing settings in Family Sharing to share your location and the location of your devices with other family members.

To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Family in the sidebar, then click Location Sharing.

If you don’t see Family in the sidebar, set up Family Sharing.

Open Family settings for me

Option	Description
Share your location with	View whether or not each member of your family group is sharing their location with you, and turn sharing of your location on or off for each family member.
Automatically Share Location	Automatically share your location with any new family members that join later.
Open Find My	Open the Find My app.
