On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, you can create multiple customized documents by merging information from a Contact group or Numbers spreadsheet, and preview how individual information populates before merging.

Preview individual merge field records

  1. Go to the Pages app on your iPhone.

  2. Open a document with existing merge fields, tap the More button at the top of the screen, tap Mail Merge, then tap Merge.

  3. Tap Preview Records under the merge fields list.

Mail Merge pane open, with options to choose sender information, change the source file or table, preview the merge field names or individual records, or merge the document.
  4. Tap the arrows to move through each record, then tap Close when you’re finished.

Note: You can’t change information in the preview window. If you need to make any corrections, update the related information in the Contacts app or the source spreadsheet.
