Customize the Photos app on Apple Vision Pro

You can change what’s in the Collections tab and the order of items in the tab. You can also change how often people, places, and holidays are shown in your memories and featured photos.

Customize the Collections tab

  1. Go to the Photos app on your Apple Vision Pro.

  2. Tap Collections in the tab bar, then tap the Customize button.

  3. Do any of the following:

    • Change the collections shown: Tap a collection with a checkbox to remove it. Tap it again to add it back.

    • Reorder collections: Pinch and drag the Reorder button next to a collection to move it.

    • Reset collections to the defaults: Tap Reset.

Change how people, places, and holidays are featured

The Photos app can show certain people, places, days, and holidays less frequently or not at all in your memories and featured photos.

  1. Go to the Photos app on your Apple Vision Pro.

  2. Tap your Apple Account photo or initials in the top corner, then turn any of the options on or off. You can adjust settings such as the following:

    • Auto-Play Videos and Live Photos

    • Show Featured Content or Holiday Events

    • Reset Suggested Memories or Reset People & Pets Suggestions
