Edit the MIDI control settings with Learn MIDI in Logic Pro for iPad
In the MIDI control settings, you can change the MIDI port and set a name for the MIDI control in Learn MIDI in Logic Pro for iPad.
MIDI control settings
Port pop-up menu: Choose another MIDI input port for the assignment.
Note: Changing the port may cause the assignment to function incorrectly.
Name field: Enter a name for the MIDI control. This name is displayed in the control row of the assignment and any other assignment that uses this MIDI message on the same channel and port. Renaming the MIDI control makes it easier for you to identify which controls are used on your MIDI device for the assignment. For example, if your MIDI device has labels for its knobs, you can enter the names in the Name fields of each assignment for quicker identification.
