Add, delete, and find photos and videos in albums on iPhone
You can add photos and videos to and delete them from the albums you create in the Photos app. You can also search within an album to quickly find specific photos and videos.
Add photos and videos to an existing album
Go to the Photos app
on your iPhone.Tap Collections, then tap Albums.
Tap an album to open it.
Tap
after the last photo in the album’s photo grid.Select the photos or videos you want to add to the album, then tap
.Tip: Tap
to find photos from a specific time or place.
You can also add individual photos and videos directly to an album. Tap the photo or video to view it in full screen, tap 
, tap Add to Album, then tap the album you want to add to.
While viewing your library, you can add multiple items to an album at once. Tap Select, then tap the items you want to add. Tap 
, tap Add to Album, then tap the album you want to add the items to.
Remove photos and videos from an album
Go to the Photos app
on your iPhone.Tap Collections, then tap Albums.
Tap an album to open it.
Touch and hold the photo you want to remove, then tap Remove from Album.
To remove multiple photos or videos from an album, tap Select, then select the items you want to remove. Tap , then tap Remove from Album.
Search for photos in an album
Go to the Photos app
on your iPhone.Tap Collections.
Tap Albums, then tap the album you want to search in.
Tap
, enter the person, object, or place you’re looking for, then tap 
.Tap
to close the search results.
