Change the window or text size in News on Mac
In Apple News, you can change the window or the text size to make it easier to read stories.
Note: Apple News isn’t available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.
Make the window bigger or full screen
Go to the News app
on your Mac.Do any of the following:
Make the window bigger: Drag a corner of the News window.
Use News full screen: Click
in the top-left corner of the window.Exit full-screen view: Press the Esc (Escape) key, or click
again.
Resize or hide the sidebar
Go to the News app
on your Mac.Do one of the following:
Resize the sidebar: Drag the separator bar left or right.
Hide the sidebar: Choose View > Hide Sidebar from the menu bar, or press Control-Command-S.
Make icons in the sidebar bigger
Go to the System Settings app
on your Mac.Click Appearance
in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)Click the pop-up menu next to “Sidebar icon size,” then choose Large.
This setting affects all apps with sidebars.
Change the text size of stories
Go to the News app
on your Mac.Click a story to view it, then do one of the following:
Zoom in: To make the text and graphics bigger, press Command-Plus Sign (+).
Reset content to its original size: Press Shift-Command-0 (zero).
Make only the text size of the story bigger or smaller: Press Option-Command-Plus Sign (+) or Option-Command-Minus Sign (-).
