Import and export keyboard shortcuts in Motion

After you save a command set, you can export it to create a backup or to share the set with another user. Exported sets are saved in a file that can be imported back into Motion later.

Export a set of keyboard shortcuts

  1. If necessary, use the pop-up menu in the top-left corner of the Command Editor in Motion to activate the command set you want to export, then do one of the following:

    • In the Command Editor, click the pop-up menu, then choose Export.

    • Choose Motion > Command Sets > Export.

  2. In the dialog the appears, navigate to the location where you want to save the exported set, then enter a name in the Save As field.

  3. Click OK.

The file is saved in the location you chose, with the .commandset filename extension.
