Overview of settings in MainStage

You can set a variety of settings by choosing MainStage > Settings. The settings window includes tabs for general, audio, recording, MIDI, view, and Sampler settings, which are described in the following sections.

You can limit the use of certain analytics data or reset your identifier specifically used by apps in Apple Creator Studio. Additional settings are available in the Privacy & Analytics dialog. You access this dialog from the MainStage main menu.

Change privacy and analytics settings

Apple collects a variety of data, some of which is associated with your Apple Account. You can limit the use of certain analytics data or reset your identifier specifically used by apps in Apple Creator Studio. If you are using MainStage as part of Apple Creator Studio:

  1. In MainStage, choose MainStage > Privacy & Analytics.

  2. Do any of the following:

    • Turn off analytics: Deselect the Share Analytics Data checkbox.

    • Reset your identifier: Click the Reset Identifier button.

If you use iCloud Passwords & Keychain, turning off analytics or resetting your identifier affects your devices with iCloud Passwords & Keychain turned on. To see how your data is managed, go to www.apple.com/legal/privacy/data/mainstage.
