Pause audio when you fall asleep with Powerbeats Pro 2

If you’re listening to audio from your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV on your Powerbeats Pro 2, you can choose to automatically pause audio when you fall asleep.

Note: To use the pause audio feature, update your Powerbeats Pro 2 to the latest firmware version.

  1. Wear your Powerbeats Pro 2, and make sure they’re connected to your device.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • iPhone or iPad: Go to the Settings app , tap the name of your Beats near the top of the screen, then turn on Pause Media When Falling Asleep.

    • Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click the name of your Beats in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then turn on Pause Media When Falling Asleep.

    • Apple TV: Open Control Center, select your Beats, then turn on Pause Media When Falling Asleep.

This guide is for Beats Fit Pro, Beats Flex, Beats Pill, Beats Solo 4, Beats Solo Buds, Beats Studio Buds +, Beats Studio Pro, Powerbeats Fit, and Powerbeats Pro 2 on iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, visionOS 26, or later. This guide is also for the Beats app on Android.
