Manage projects in Logic Pro for iPad

In Logic Pro for iPad, you can move, copy, duplicate, and rename Logic Pro projects in the Projects browser. You can also view project information and view a Quick Look preview of the project.

Note: You can also perform many of these tasks in the Files app by navigating to the Logic Pro folder.

  1. In Logic Pro, tap the Projects Browser button  on the left side of the control bar.

  2. In the Projects browser, touch and hold the project, then tap Move.

  3. Browse to the location where you want to move the project.

  4. Tap Move in the upper-right corner of the Move dialog.

Copy a project

Duplicate a project

  2. In the Projects browser, touch and hold the project, then tap Duplicate (or show the menu bar, then choose File > Duplicate Project).

A duplicate project appears below the original, appended with a number to indicate it that it is a duplicate.

You can open the duplicate project and start working, or rename the duplicate to easily distinguish it from the original.

Rename a project

  2. In the Projects browser, touch and hold the project, then tap Rename.

  3. Enter a new name for the project.

Note: You can also rename an open project using the Rename Project command in the File menu, or by tapping the name on the left side of the control bar, then tapping Rename.

View project information

  1. In Logic Pro, tap the Projects Browser button  on the left side of the control bar.

  2. In the Projects browser, touch and hold the project, then tap Get Info.

A window opens showing an image of the project, the project name, and other information, including when the project was created, when it was last opened, and its location.

  3. Tap Open to open the project.
