Take Flyover tours in Maps on iPod touch

In the Maps app , you can fly over many of the world’s major landmarks and cities. Flyover landmarks are identified by the Flyover button in their banners. Flyover cities are indicated by a circle with “3D” inside it next to their names in map view.

Watch an aerial 3D tour

  1. Tap the name of a city (in map or satellite view) or the name of a landmark.

    If you don’t see a circle with “3D” inside it markers for cities, zoom out, or if you’re using transit or satellite view, tap the Settings button, then choose Map.

  2. Tap Flyover Tour in the banner.

  3. To return to the map, tap the screen, then tap the Close button.
