Change Live Loops view settings in Logic Pro
You can zoom cells horizontally in the Live Loops grid, control the shape of the cells when zooming, and change the width of the grid.
Control the shape of cells when zooming
In Logic Pro, choose View > Try to Keep Cells Squared When Zooming from the Tracks area menu bar.
By default, cells keep their square shape when you vertically zoom the tracks. However, if your project contains many scenes and you view the Live Loops grid and Tracks area at the same time, you can disable this so cells appear as thinner, vertical rectangles. This can help you maintain a visible overview of the scenes.
Zoom cells horizontally
You can zoom cells horizontally in and out. This is useful if you want to see the names of cells that are too long to fit in the top of the cell. You can set the zoom factor and toggle the zoom on and off.
In Logic Pro, click and hold the Grid Zoom button
until the zoom slider appears.Drag the slider horizontally to adjust the zoom.
Release the pointer when you’re done.
Click the Grid Zoom button to turn zoom on and off or use the Toggle Grid Horizontal Zoom key command.
Change the size of the Live Loops grid
If you view the Live Loops grid and the Tracks area at the same time, you can change the size of the Live Loops grid in relation to the Tracks area.
Move the pointer over the Divider column between the Live Loops grid and Tracks area.
When the pointer becomes a resize icon, drag it left or right.
