Change Rules preferences in Mail on Mac
Use Rules preferences in Mail to add, change, copy and delete rules used to manage incoming messages.
To change these preferences in the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail > Preferences, then click Rules.
Option | Description |

Rules list | Available rules are listed. When a rule’s tickbox is selected, the rule is being applied to your messages. To keep a rule but not use it, deselect its tickbox. Rules are applied in the order in which they appear in the list; drag a rule up or down to change the order. |

Duplicate | Copy a rule so that you can edit it to create a new rule. |
Remove | Delete a rule. |
If you use iCloud Drive, your rules are available on your other Mac computers that have iCloud Drive turned on. Files attached to rules, such as sound files or scripts, aren’t available. See Use iCloud Drive to store documents.
