Change settings in Maps on Mac
Use Maps settings to customize the appearance of your maps and choose how you want to travel.
Go to the Maps app
on your Mac.Choose Maps > Settings, then click one of the following:
General: Change the appearance of your maps—for example, make labels larger or include a compass.
Route Planner: Change how you want to get around while driving, walking, riding transit, or cycling.
Ratings & Photos: Receive suggestions to submit ratings or photos for places you’ve recently visited, and manage the ratings and photos you share.
