Use your mouse to zoom in to make an image larger on Mac
If you use an Apple mouse, you can use it to zoom in on part of the screen.
Some Mac notebook computers also support making the screen image larger using the trackpad.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu
Select “Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom” to turn on zooming.
Choose a modifier key (Control, Option, or Command) to use to zoom, or press a combination of them together.

Set additional zoom options:
To make zoomed screen images appear smooth, click Advanced, click Appearance, then select “Smooth images.”
To make the zoomed image shift to follow the cursor, click Advanced, click Appearance, then select “Follow keyboard focus.”
To choose the type of zoom to use, click the “Zoom style” pop-up menu, then choose “Full screen” or “Picture-in-picture.”
When zoom is turned on, press and hold the modifier key or keys and scroll using your mouse to enlarge or reduce the screen image.
