If a MIDI device is dimmed
The device may be disconnected or turned off. Make sure the device is turned on, then try reconnecting it to your Mac.
If a MIDI device is disconnected or turned off, the “Device is online” checkbox is deselected in the device’s Properties window. (The Properties window appears when you double-click a device icon in the MIDI Studio window.)
