Automatically match image colors in Pixelmator Pro on Mac

Match Colors is an intelligent feature that copies the color palette of one image to another.

Split-view comparison of a photo in the canvas with and without the Match Color adjustment applied.
  1. In Pixelmator Pro on Mac, select a layer in the Layers sidebar.

  2. Choose Format > Color Adjustments > Match Colors.

  3. In the file browser, select any image on your Mac to use as a source image for color matching, then click Match Colors.

Pixelmator Pro automatically adjusts controls in the White Balance, Basic, Hue & Saturation, Selective Color, and Color Balance sections in the Color Adjustments pane. If necessary, you can fine-tune these settings in the pane.
