Recover a recently deleted password or passkey on Mac

If you delete a password or passkey from your Mac, you have 30 days to recover it before it’s permanently deleted.

Open Passwords for me

  1. Go to the Passwords app on your Mac.

  2. Click Deleted in the sidebar.

  3. Locate the account for the deleted password or passkey, then select the account.

    You can recover more than one deleted password or passkey at a time.

  4. Click Recover.

The password or passkey is returned to your Mac and iCloud Keychain.
