Change lighting options for Home on Mac
You can control light accessories with the Home app on your Mac.
Adjust a lightbulb’s color during the day
You can gradually and automatically adjust the warmth of color lights during the day.
Go to the Home app
on your Mac.Click the lightbulb’s name in the tile, then click the Adaptive Light button in the top-left corner of buttons.
The color is cooler during the day and warmer during the evening.
To return to one consistent color during the day, click another color button.
Change a lightbulb’s icon
You can change the icon of a lightbulb; you can’t change the icon of other accessories.
Go to the Home app
on your Mac.Click the lightbulb’s name in the tile, then click
in the bottom-right corner.Click the lightbulb icon, then choose an alternative. Click Done, then click
in the top-right corner.
