Merge duplicate photos and videos on iPad

The Photos app identifies duplicate photos and videos in your photo library in Duplicates. You can merge duplicate photos and videos to save space and clean up your library.

Go to the Photos app on your iPad.
Tap Collections.
Tap Utilities, then tap Duplicates.
Tap Merge to combine the duplicates, then tap Merge [number] Exact Copies.

If you don’t have any duplicate photos or videos in your library, Duplicates doesn’t appear.
