AirPlay Security device management payload settings for Apple devices

You can use AirPlay Security to define specific access to an Apple TV that enrolls in a device management service. Use the AirPlay Security payload to preconfigure access and security settings when connecting to Apple TV.

The AirPlay Security payload supports the following. For more information, see Payload information.

Supported payload identifier: com.apple.airplay.security
Supported operating systems and channels: tvOS.
Supported enrollment methods: Device Enrollment, Automated Device Enrollment.
Duplicates allowed: False—only one AirPlay Security payload can be delivered to a device.

You can use the settings in the table below with the AirPlay Security payload.

Access	Configure network requirements when users access a Mac or Apple TV. You can set it for devices on any Wi-Fi network or only those on the same Wi-Fi network.	Yes
Security	Set the type of security when connecting to a Mac or Apple TV. It can be set to first-time passcode, passcode, or known password.	Yes
Password	If the Security is set to password, the password needs to be included.	Dependent
