Use your Beats Pill

• Press the power button on the top of the speaker for 3 seconds, then release.

When you turn Beats Pill on or off, the light flashes white if the battery is more than 10 percent charged. The light flashes red if the battery is less then 10 percent charged. See Charge Beats Pill.

1. Make sure your Beats Pill is connected to your Apple or Android device.

2. Go to an audio app, then play something—for example, a song in the Music app or an episode in the Podcasts app .

3. Use the center button on the top of Beats Pill to do any of the following:

   • Play and pause audio: Press . To resume playback, press it again.

   • Play the next track: Double-press .

   • Play the previous track: Triple-press .

Use the volume up and volume down buttons on the top of the speaker to do either of the following:

• Increase the volume: Press (or press and hold) .

• Decrease the volume: Press (or press and hold) .

Sync two Beats Pill speakers using Amplify mode for double the audio experience. For a surround sound feel, use Stereo mode to split audio between two synced speakers for dedicated left/right audio channel output.

1. Make sure that one Beats Pill is turned on and connected to your Apple or Android device.

2. Turn on the second Beats Pill.

3. Press and hold the center button on each speaker for five seconds, until the light next to the power button on both speakers turns blue.

   The speakers are now in Amplify mode—the same audio plays from each speaker. Once your speakers are in Amplify mode, you can switch to Stereo mode.

4. To switch to Stereo mode, press and hold and on the speaker you want to play the left channel until the light next to the power button turns blue.

   The speakers are now in Stereo mode with dedicated left and right audio channels for a surround sound feel.

5. Optional: Press and hold and on either Beats Pill to switch between Amplify mode and Stereo mode.

You can use your Beats Pill as a speakerphone and to control calls.

Make sure that Beats Pill is turned on and connected to your phone, then use the center button on the top of Beats Pill to do any of the following:

• Answer a call: Press .

• End a call: Double-press .

• Answer a second incoming call and put the first call on hold, or switch between two active calls: Press .

• Decline an incoming call: Double-press .

• Mute or unmute the microphone: During a call, press . To unmute, press it again.

Connect your Beats Pill to a supported iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Android device with a USB-C to USB-C cable to listen to music, including high-resolution lossless audio.

1. Connect a USB-C cable to your computer or other compatible device.

2. Press and hold the power button on the top of Beats Pill while plugging the USB-C cable into the speaker.

3. Follow any onscreen instructions on your device to allow Beats Pill to connect.

   Note: If you don’t hear audio playing on the speaker, make sure USB-C audio is selected as the audio output on your device (in Sound settings in Control Center on Mac, for example).

   The speaker automatically turns off when you disconnect the cable.

Press the power button twice, and when you hear a chime, make your request.
