Volume mode in Logic Pro for Mac

Using Volume mode in Beat Breaker, you can set the Volume, Slope, and Curve values of a slice.

  • Click the Volume button to select Volume mode.

Volume mode parameters

  • Volume: Adjust the volume of the selected slice.

  • Slope: Adjust the rate at which the volume changes over time for the selected slice.

  • Curve: Adjust the curve of the volume ramp over time for the selected slice.

Tip: To create a natural fade-out at the end of a loop, apply Volume mode to the last slice, set Volume to full, and drag Slope down to the right. The audio level drops off smoothly as the pattern reaches its end point.

Set the Volume parameter

  • Click a slice, then drag up or down to adjust the Volume value.

Set the Slope parameter

  • Click a slice, then drag left or right to adjust the Slope value.

Set the Curve parameter

  • Click a slice, press Command, then drag up or down to adjust the Curve value.
