ES E filter parameters in Logic Pro for iPad
ES E includes a lowpass filter that lets you contour the output from the oscillator.
Filter parameters
Cutoff knob and field: Control the cutoff frequency of the filter.- Resonance knob and field: Boost or cut portions of the signal that surround the frequency defined by the Cutoff parameter.
Note: Increasing the Resonance value results in a rejection of bass—low frequency energy—when using lowpass filters.
Filter Env Depth knob and field: Set the amount (depth) of cutoff frequency modulation applied by the envelope generator.
Note: ES E provides one envelope generator per voice, offering Attack and Release parameters (see ES E envelope parameters).
Filter Vel knob and field: Set the velocity sensitivity of the cutoff frequency modulation applied by the envelope generator.
Note: This parameter has no effect if Filter Env Depth is set to 0.
