Connect iPod touch to a TV, projector, or monitor with a cable
With the appropriate cable or adapter, you can connect your iPod touch to a display, like a TV, projector, or computer monitor.
Plug a Lightning Digital AV Adapter or Lightning to VGA Adapter into the charging port on the bottom of iPod touch.
Connect an HDMI or VGA cable to your adapter.
Connect the other end of your HDMI or VGA cable to your secondary display (TV, monitor, or projector).
If necessary, switch to the correct video source on your secondary display. If you need help, use your display’s manual.
The adapters have an extra port so you can connect your charging cable and charge your iPod touch while connected to a secondary display.
