Change settings in Reminders on Mac

Use Reminders Settings to set the default reminder list and settings for all-day reminders.

To change these settings in the Reminders app on your Mac, choose Reminders > Settings.

Open Reminders for me

Option	Description
Default List	Choose the list to put new reminders in when they’re created outside of a specific list. See Set the default reminder list.
All-Day Reminders	Today Notification: Set a time to show a notification for all-day reminders with no specified time. Show all-day reminders as overdue: Show all-day reminders as overdue starting on the next day.
Badge Count	Include both overdue items and items due today in the badge count shown on the Reminders app icon in the Dock.
Assigned Reminders	Today Notification:
Adding Reminders	Show suggestions when adding reminders.
Shopping Lists	Choose “Set an additional language automatically”, then select a language that Reminders uses to automatically categorise shopping items. Click Reset Shopping Categories to clear the categorisation learned as you manually move items in shopping lists.
