Play films on Apple TV from iTunes on PC
If you have an Apple TV, you can use it to watch films from your computer on your TV. You might need to convert some films to work with Apple TV. Any video that plays on iPod, iPhone or iPad is compatible with Apple TV.
In the iTunes app
on your PC, choose Films from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library.
Select the film, then choose File > Convert > Create iPad or Apple TV Version.
Converting a film for Apple TV can take from several minutes to several hours, depending on your computer and on the length and content of the film.
The original film file remains in your iTunes library.
