Flatten take folders in Logic Pro for iPad

You can flatten a take folder in Logic Pro for iPad, which replaces the take folder with multiple regions that represent the current comp sections. All take and comp regions that aren’t active are deleted.

You can also flatten a take folder and merge the results. The take folder is replaced with a single region that represents the current comp sections. All take region sections not used in the current comp are deleted.

Flatten a take folder

  1. In Logic Pro, choose the take or comp you want to keep.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Tap the Takes pop-up menu in the top-left corner of the take folder.

    • Tap the take folder to select it, tap it again, then tap Takes and Folders.

  3. Tap Flatten.

The take folder is replaced with multiple regions that represent the current comp sections. When flattening a comp, the crossfades between take sections are removed. Each active take section is converted into an audio region.
