Create regions in the Tracks area in Logic Pro for iPad

You can create an empty MIDI region or pattern region, or create a Drummer region with a default pattern on a software instrument track, then edit the region.

Create an empty MIDI region

  1. In Logic Pro, select the software instrument track.

  2. Tap the background, then tap Create MIDI Region.

Create an empty pattern region

  1. In Logic Pro, select the software instrument track.

  2. Tap the background, then tap Create Pattern Region.

Create a Drummer region

  1. In Logic Pro, select the software instrument track.

  2. Tap the background, then tap Create Drummer Region.
