Save and find email addresses in Mail on iCloud.com

You can save email addresses to your iCloud contacts. You can also enter an email address you have in your iCloud contacts by typing only the first few characters in the To field of an email; iCloud automatically completes the email address for you.

To learn more about iCloud contacts, see Keep your contacts up to date with iCloud.

Save email addresses to your iCloud contacts

  1. Go to icloud.com/mail, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).

  2. Do either of the following:

    • Add a contact from an email you received: View the email. At the top of the email, select the sender’s name or email address. In the window that appears, edit the contact details if necessary, then select Done or Add Contact.

    • Add a contact while composing or responding to an email: Select an address in the To, Cc, or Bcc field. Select the Arrow button next to the address, add or update the contact details, then select Done or Add Contact.

If your account has Screen Time Communication Limits turned on, you may not be able to add or edit contacts. See If you can’t create, import, edit, or delete contacts on iCloud.com.
