Define a channel strip’s mono output in Logic Pro for Mac

You can define a channel strip’s mono output setting directly from the channel strip’s Output slot.

Define the mono output for a channel strip

  • In Logic Pro, click the channel strip’s Output slot, then choose a mono output from the Output > Mono submenu.

Note: The Mono submenu is only visible in the Output menu when the channel mode of the channel strip is set to mono. See Set channel strip input format.

Search for an output

  1. In the Mixer in Logic Pro, click the Output slot in a channel strip, then click the search field at the top of the menu.

  2. Enter an output name. As you enter text, the results list shows matching outputs.

  3. To use a matching output in the slot, select it in the results list.
